What is Perlane-Restylane?
Perlane-Restylane, a Q-Med Esthetic product, contains hyaluronic acid, a substance that is present in all living organisms. Hyaluronic acid is one of very few substances that is identical in all species and tissue types. Thus, it can be used in many medical applications. In the skin it creates volume, resulting in a healthy and vital appearance. Q-Med's hyaluronic acid is unique. It is the only company to offer NASHA, or Non-Animal Stabilized Hyaluronic Acid. NASHA gel is the first stable, biodegradable, non-animal hyaluronic acid available and is produced under carefully controlled conditions.

How does Perlane-Restylane work?
Perlane-Restylane acts by adding volume to tissue, thereby shaping the contours of the face, correcting folds or enhancing the lips to the desired level of correction. Perlane-Restylane is long lasting though not permanent and the procedure can be repeated as often as you like. You are always in charge of your appearance.

Is Perlane-Restylane Safe?
Perlane-Restylane is manufactured under stringent control. The products are non-animal which means that there should not be any risk of transmitting disease or causing allergic reactions. Q-Med Esthetics products come to you from Sweden, a nation known for health, nature and beauty. Q-Med Esthetics has a long record of success with many satisfied users. More than 700,000 treatments have been carried out around the world.

What is Restylane?
Restylane is a crystal-clear, biodegradable NASHA (Non-Animal Stabilized Hyaluronic Acid) gel, which is injected into the dermis in tiny amounts with a very fine needle. The result is instantaneous, producing a long-lasting, natural enhancement, gentle and safe to the skin. Today, many people are showing increasing interest in correcting wrinkles and folds, shaping facial contours and augmenting the lips. With Restylane, you can offer your patients a complete solution for tissue-tailored facial augmentation - a natural beauty lift using the body's own material. Since it was launched in 1996, Restylane has undergone extensive histological and clinical studies with an increasing body of evidence relating to its ease of use, tolerability and effectiveness. Today, more than 1,500,000 treatments have been successfully carried out worldwide.

Natural Beauty Made in Sweden
Restylane is a Swedish innovation dedicated to natural beauty. After decades of extensive research, Dr Bengt Ågerup and the company Q-Med in Uppsala , Sweden , succeeded in developing a method to stabilize non-animal, hyaluronic acid and forming a gel called NASHA. The first application of the NASHA gel, Restylane, was introduced in 1996.
